Our cup mute might be the most versatile mute in your arsenal. It comes with 4 different cups - that's 2 different cup shapes, printed with TPU - flexible, and PETG - rigid. The flexible cups work great in close mic situations, or when blending with a section. The rigid versions provide more crackle and pop, and that classic percussive articulation. Bring the cup in close to the bell for a tighter cup sound, or open it up a bit for more projection and volume. Also, feel free to use the mute without the cup, as we believe that to make a great sounding cup mute, it all needs to start with a great sounding straight mute at the center. It plays a bit brighter than our stand alone straight mute, but comes with the same spot on intonation in all registers, with or without the cup.

Printed with a combination of PETG, TPU, and TPU AIR.

Please checkout our other listings, as new models will be posted once available.  We've got about 10 finished and ready to go so far, and a few more still in the prototype stage.

Please feel free to message me with any questions about this mute.  Re-launch of our website and launch of our YouTube channel is coming soon.
