Available now is this beautiful 2008 Epiphone ES-355 “Lucille”, the BB King signature model, finished in ebony. These guitars are becoming fairly rare and sought after now, and for good reason - they are super super cool! It’s based on an ES-355 body with no F holes with an added 6 position varitone switch. This guitar was made in the Qingdao factory in mid 2008 and has only had one owner from new. It remains in great condition with no major damage and no breaks or repairs.

Spec wise, you get a 5-ply Layered Maple body (no f-holes) with a maple centerblock paired with a maple neck with a Rounded "C" Profile and an ebony fretboard. This feels a lot more premium than the laurel/nasty rosewood you sometimes find on newer epiphone models. It has a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge as well as TP-6 Stop Bar with Fine Tuners which makes the small adjustments very easy. Gold grover tuners and a graph tech nut complete the high quality hardware.

In terms of electrics, you get a pair of Alnico Classic PRO Humbuckers which sound great, really smooth with the low end, good powerful mids and still capable of that classic gibson ES bite you get when you put some gain on. The 6-Position Varitone Switch unlocks a whole range of tonal options, and you even get both Mono and Stereo Output Jacks!

Good comfortable weight of just over 3.9kg, The perfect choice for someone who wants a great guitar without breaking the bank, and I reckon this will keep its value very well.
