What’s a JV?
It’s a guitar or bass that I, Jeff Nelson pieced together with a lot of thought and artistic vision. All the JV’s sold so far (3) have gotten rave reviews. I 💯 know that whoever is lucky enough to own this bass next aka, Doomsday Bass will be absolutely thrilled. It’s my favorite JV thus far and I can’t wait to hear back from the next owner. I expect nothing less than five stars and a glazing in the comment section.
Anyways let’s get to the specs of this beautiful one of a kind JV Jazzbass..

Body- Fender Vintera 70’s in a stunning Inca Silver. This body was the original inspiration for this build. I loved the color.

Pick ups- These amazing Fender Cobalt pickups are the inspiration for the name, Doomsday Bass. There’s a Silver Surfer comic features a villain doctor and his robot, Doomsday Man. Doomsday Man is defeated by Silver Surfer stopping Doomsday Man and his COBALT BOMB. (Like I said, a lot of thought goes into my JV’s)

Controls- Fender Player loaded Jazzbass control plate with highend chrome speed knobs. The knobs are a pleasure to touch. lol Seriously I went through three different types and these were superior.

Bridge- Fender Player Plus High Mass Bridge.

Neck- I had the body finish and thought out but I didn’t want just any neck. I had to have one with the silver Fender logo. It took a good two months of searching marketplace when one finally popped up. The neck along with the high mass bridge are off of a 2023 Fender Player Plus Jazzbass and it’s a super nice one. It’s hard to tell in the pictures, but the strings are Neon white. They are DR Neon White strings. 45-105. Awesome bass strings.

Comes shipped in a nice Fender gig bag.

Oh almost forgot..It has a real mirror pickguard that brings the whole thing together. The mirror pickguard is like The Big Lebowski’s rug.
