This is a pre 1937 Rickenbacker Hawaiian Electro 100 NC nickel chrome lap guitar. There are a few minor scuffs and scratches that could be buffed out. Other wise this model is in excellent condition. there are some pick marks on the finger board that have nicked the chrome.

This comes with the original hard shell case.

This lap steel was owned by Billy Byrd a famous Nashville guitarist and session musician.

William Lewis "Billy" Byrd (1920–2001) was a pioneering Nashville country lead guitarist best known for his 1949–1959 tenure with Ernest Tubb’s Texas Troubadours. He helped introduce the electric guitar to country music, famously co-designing the Gibson Byrdland guitar with Hank Garland. Known for his jazz-influenced style, he often played on hits and recorded solo albums
