Note: See short video in gallery showing how I pack a guitar. I set myself apart with my SETUPS and PACKING. I include setup sheet with each guitar.

What It Is
Up for sale is a nicely worn 2003 Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut faded guitar in the highly sought-after TV Yellow finish. This double cut is a real head-turner with classic tone and was the first production year for this model. Weight = 7lbs, 5oz.

Condition
This Les Paul is in players condition with lots of paint wear and marks. Some from the factory, some from real world playing. It basically looks like a killer relic guitar, but playing-wise it's A+. The rosewood board is really sweet and the frets are still in great shape. The neck is straight. All electronics are original and in perfect working order. Upgraded Gotoh tuners.

Sound and Playability
Equipped with a pair of Gibson soapboar P90 pickups, this LP has the signature P90 sound, which can vary from buzzsaw cutting through the mix to more mellow and full using the neck pickup or backing off the volume. The mahogany body and neck combination ensures outstanding sustain and resonance, and the thin finish won't choke your tone. The guitar plays nice all over the neck. No dead spots, no issues. (I do a full setup and expert packing--it will come ready to play out of the box.) NO case. Thanks for looking!

International
Please note, on Reverb, I ship to USA and Canada only. On eBay I ship worldwide with eBay International, which has the best pricing. cheers

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.

Manufacturer Info
The killer classic double cut with P90 edge and vibrant nitro finish! The nitrocellulose lacquer finish on the Gibson Les Paul Faded Double Cutaway Electric Guitar makes for great looks. But you also get cool feel, wide-open vibrant tone, and a whole lot of guitar for very little cash. Solid mahogany body and set neck add to the resonance and great sustain while classic P90 single-coil pickups provide the sharp bite of the very first Les Pauls. Rosewood fretboard.
