You are looking at a older early 1960 era Atlas MS-10C "Leader" microphone floor stand built in Parsippany, NJ and was the entry level model in the Atlas Corp line up. It has the modern  rounded one tier cast iron painted base with dual chrome adjustable risers. The MS-10C was a high quality, rugged build and was sold by Atlas for several decades and is still being sold today though the new ones I believe have been made in China for about 20 or 30 years. This is the harder to find early 2rd generation American model.

 Pic # 2 is from an old 1950's era Atlas catalog showing this very mic stand and it's basic characteristics. The MS-10C had a classic design and is still very popular amongst musician today. This design has been copied by several domestic and foreign companies over the decades.

 The MS-10C has the taller cast iron painted base that is appx 10 pounds in weight and had an adjustable height of 35 inches low to 65 inches tall giving you more than enough height to work with.

 It shows typical lite wear but it's still in very good overall condition and will make a great stand for just about any situation or older mic you have. These stands are very tough and made much better than most stands sold today. 

 The chrome on the upper riser has just lite scratches. The lower chrome riser is about the same with slightly more wear. The original Atlas decal is still mostly present despite years of use. The clutch mechanism to lower the top riser works accordingly and in very nice condition.   The cast iron base has the original dark grey paint and shows just lite discoloration and scratches.   

 The bottom of the base shows very lite rust stains. The 3 original rubber pads are still present and work great. 

 This stand will accept any screw on mic or mic clip you have.

 Overall this stand is an easy 7 + on a scale of 1 - 10. I'm very picky though. Others would probably find it nicer.
