Gibson "Demo" guitars can be one-off specials, sales samples, or generally something that does not fit the standard catalog description. Our own theory about this guitar is that somebody in the factory did not look to see it was a lefty guitar and put a pickguard on the wrong side. And rather than fill those holes they added a second guard. Feel free to come up with your own theory, but there is enough pickguard area to serve drinks on. 

Other than this possible mishap, it's pure 335 with lovely maple figuring, perfect workmanship and original case and certificate. The "Electric Spanish" guitar has endured since 1958 as the standard in semi-hollow guitars. Have one two pickguards, one pickguard, or none....you can't go wrong.

Excellent condition used guitar with no nicks, dents, or chips. Just light signs of normal handling. Frets have barely been kissed. Guitar includes original case and professional setup.
