1982 Gibson Les Paul 30th Anniversary Goldtop
For your consideration is this rare 30th Anniversary Les Paul Goldtop. This is the first version of this model, distinct from the later version. This instrument was designed to be a faithful recreation of the late 1950s Goldtop, and Gibson truly nailed the details on this one—from the body's top carve to the overall vintage-spec construction.
Tone & Electronics
This Les Paul features its original Tim Shaw pickups, which are highly regarded for their ability to capture the authentic voice of a vintage PAF. They deliver a clear, articulate, and harmonically rich tone that perfectly complements the late '50s inspired build. Please note that the original pickup covers have been removed, giving the guitar a classic "hot-rodded" look while allowing the pickups to shine.
Condition & Playability
This is a fantastic-playing guitar that sounds exactly like a world-class Les Paul should.
- Upgrades: The tuners have been replaced, and there are some small holes visible from previously installed tuners.
- Originality: Aside from the tuners and the removed pickup covers, the guitar remains original.
- Feel: It plays great with a comfortable action and a neck profile that feels substantial yet fast.
- Case: It comes with its original Gibson hardshell case.
