1960’s Silvertone 1457 Vintage Guitar w/ Amp-in-Case – Good Condition – Serviced

Up for sale is a super cool 1960’s Silvertone 1457 in good condition with tons of vintage character and lots of mojo. These are some of the most fun and iconic vintage department store guitars out there, and this one still has the vibe that made them famous.

The guitar shows honest age and wear throughout, exactly what you’d want to see on a well-loved piece like this. It has a great broken-in feel and plenty of old-school charm. There is light fret wear, but nothing excessive, and it still plays well.

The original amplifier built into the case was recently serviced and is working as it should. Even better, the tremolo also works properly, which is a huge plus on these. The case itself shows wear from age and use, with a beat-up exterior and some missing latches, but it still adds to the look and authenticity of the set.

If you’re after a vintage Silvertone setup with real character, working electronics, and classic pawn shop / garage rock appeal, this is a great one. These amp-in-case models are getting harder to find in complete, functional condition.
