Up for grabs is a 1981–82 Ludwig 14x15 Tom! The finish is the famous black cortex, with the modular mount, popular during that timeframe. All parts function as they should! This is the thicker 6 ply shell, which I like a lot, as I have something similar, and is why I’m selling this one. I recently purchased it from an awesome seller here on Reverb, but my 14” seems to do the job just fine for me.
My plan was to convert this one Into a floor tom, which you can do, or use this as a large rack tom as well! If you are looking for the Bonham thing, or Dave Grohl in Nirvana, setting up this drum in that configuration might be a possibility! Also, if you are in a 90s alternative rock cover band, this would be cool, and work as well!
Anyway, this is a great tom that would work perfectly to any Ludwig kit of the late 70s, up to the current classic maple line of today!
