Up for sale is a Bogner Wessex Version 1 classic low to medium gain overdrive pedal. As you are probably familiar, one of the main components and features of the Bogner Wessex Version 1 pedals is the Rupert Neve designed transformer. The Neve transformer was incorporated into all of the pedals in the Version 1 series (e.g., Wessex, Burnley, and Harlow). The Wessex Version 1 delivers excellent low-to-mid gain overdrive which has amp-like response and tonal characteristics which may be in part attributed to the Neve designed transformer. Higher gain overdriven tones are also achievable as you crank up the gain knob. The Wessex also features an E/N mini-toggle switch to select from Enhanced to Normal settings. The Enhanced mode extends the range of the bass and treble frequencies. The Enhanced/Normal switch coupled with the separate Bass and Treble controls provide excellent tonal versatility.
As you can see from the photos, this pedal is in excellent New Old Stock (NOS) condition and comes with its original box, feet, and paperwork.
