HH V800 MOS-FET Power Amplifier

Legendary British-made power amp from HH Electronic; built like a tank.

An absolute beast of an amp, putting out 250 watts per channel (at 8 Ohms) of clean, Class AB power. Often described as having a warm, tube-like sound; personally, I've always thought it just sounded transparent and effortless in its ability to drive whatever speakers I threw at it. It's a classic for a reason.

Recently serviced and given a clean bill of health. After sitting in storage for a few years I asked a shop to give it a once over and clean the volume pots, which had developed some crackle. It sounds as good now as it ever has.

The only thing I have not been able to test are the XLR inputs as my only pair of cables are busted. The TRS/¼" inputs work perfectly but I have to sell the unit as-is on account of being unable to test everything myself. The service shop assures me everything works fine.

Dual-voltage unit, runs on 110/220v. Cooling fans have been cleaned and are quiet.

In excellent cosmetic condition for an amp from the 80s. Have a look at all the pictures for any nicks and scrapes.

Happy to answer any questions.
