A rare American Deluxe fretless model!

The American Deluxe series, born in 1998, inherits the Fender sound while using parts suited to the modern music scene, pursuing "sound quality and specifications." It's a modern series with specifications a step above the standard models.

This 1999 model features an alder body and rosewood fingerboard, and is a fretless type with fret lines. It has a four-bolt neck joint without a heel cut.

While it looks like a regular J-type pickup, this is actually a stacked humbucking pickup, a specification from the early American Deluxe series.

Controls include volume, pickup balancer, and 3-band EQ.

Active fretless basses themselves are rare on the market, but this one has controls that allow you to easily adjust the sound!

It doesn't have a powerful output, but rather a warm fretless sound, making it a viable option even for those looking for a passive bass!
