1965-67 Ampeg GS-12R Reverberocket II.
This amp is fantastic for classic Ampeg tones, clean at lower volumes and crunchy at high volumes. It sounds AMAZING with any DeArmond made pickup (Dynasonics, goldfoils, etc)
The guitar input has higher headroom, the accordion breaks up sooner providing more gain overall. Super rich and full overdrive sound, and the tone stack/2 band EQ adds a vast dynamic range.
It's sporting a speaker upgrade of an Eminence cannabis rex, has brand new power tubes and a fresh cap job (bench photos were taken during the replacement).
Original reverb tank, handle and logo in tact. only missing 2 knobs and the bottom for the footswitch. Has original power cable and plug (hasn't caused me any issues)
Only known issue is dying cords on the in/outs of the reverb tank.
If they get moved around to much, it'll go microphonic and squeal at you.
Simple fix, the cords just need to be replaced.
Bottom cover of footswitch is missing
Has four holes in the bottom from previously installed casters.
Normal wear and tear on the tolex, nothing crazy.
CONUS only shipping. It's not cheap, but it will insured and packed well.
Local Pickup in Appleton wisconsin.
Thanks for looking!
