Here is a Limited Edition 2025 Fender Custom Shop '63 Telecaster in Candy Apple Red Journeyman Relic finish. Includes the original hardshell case, CoA, paperwork, accessories, and an additional pickguard. This guitar was built for the 2025 NAMM show and features a matching headstock, seldom seen on Custom Shop Telecasters. Other notable specs include a quarter-sawn maple neck with a '63 C-shaped profile, AAA-grade dark rosewood fretboard w/ 6105 frets, and Custom Shop Hand-Wound Twisted Tele pickups. It's an absolute ringer, with lots of resonance unplugged, and weighs in at just 7.1 lb. The Twisted Tele set is one of my favorites, and sounds very full and balanced in this guitar. Twangy and clear in the bridge position, and punchy in the neck position, with just a bit of quacky Strat DNA mixed in. The middle position is super articulate, making it perfect for playing single note runs or arpeggiated chords. The string-to-string definition is excellent in all positions. This guitar is set up with '10s for comfy action and plays great! I've included a photo of the floor traveler so you can check out all of the build details.

Condition: This guitar is in Excellent condition, hardly showing any signs of use. The frets show just a tiny hint of visible wear, but are nearly perfect with full, smooth crowns, and feel buttery-smooth to play on. It doesn't look to me like this guitar exhibits any actual play wear like nicks, dings, scuffs that would be additional to the Fender Custom Shop aging. The guitar came stock with a tort guard, but a white pearloid guard is currently installed, which contrasts the Candy Apple Red finish quite nicely in my opinion! The original guard is included, and I've taken a couple photos of the guitar with that as well, so you can see what it looks like. The current guard uses the same 8-hole pattern as the original, so you can easily swap back without any evidence of it ever having been off.

All in all, an absolutely fantastic Tele with some unique features that set it apart from the rest!

*Note - Upon receiving the guitar, please let it acclimate to room temperature before opening the case and removing it. It's especially important with nitro-finished guitars to prevent lacquer checking/cracking. As always, when a guitar is being shipped to an area with a different climate, it's best to let it settle in for a few days before having any necessary setup adjustments made (if any) by a competent tech to fit your personal preference.
