This is a great amplifier. The clean channel is very Fender-like and shimmery. The overdrive channel can be dialed in from slight breakup to full-on grinding grit.
It is the portable version of the JCM800.
The new tubes took care of some minor noise issues I'd been having. When I pulled them originals, the base pin on one had broken and I had been unaware of it. So, I went to TubeDepot and bought a trio of tubes; the 12AX7 for the reverb channel and matched EL34 power tubes.
If shipping costs come in below the estimated $100, I'll refund the difference.
