1981 Rickenbacker 4001. Comes with original case. This bass is an amazing player and ready to take to your next gig or recording date. It’s been played, but it’s been cared for and well-kept.

Has Joe Barden noiseless pickups installed. Original pickups are included (and do work), but are not pictured.

The original bridge and tuners were replaced with great performing Hipshot units. The original bridge and tuners were lost long ago - but they were pretty worn out.

Finally, to make this 4001 as playable as possible, the frets were replaced and are accordingly in great condition!

All in all, this is likely the finest functioning “yellowed” white 4001 out there for your consideration - very, very cool stuff!
