Check out the video below of this exact guitar through a twin reverb. I can come off the price if you’d like the stock trapeze and tuners, and not the Frequensator and Klusons. This is a vibey eye-catching amazing sounding, resonant, player Casino with upgraded relic’d Kluson tuners (original tuners included), Frequensator (Riviera style) tailpiece (original tailpiece included)—a nod to Daniel Kessler. Super fun to play both unplugged or plugged in. This is a songwriting machine.
The best part though is the 43.5mm nut and slim neck profile compared to any other Casino or es-330 I’ve seen or played (Peerless usually run at 42.7mm). This eliminates the cramped feel a lot of narrow-nut casinos and es-330s have. The wood pattern on this one is incredible, and it has a very resonant top. The neck joint on these is at the 19th fret compared to 17th fret versions. This means the upper frets are easier to access!
I’m happy to put the original tuners and tailpiece back on if preferred. That said the Frequensator did improve the feel and tone in my opinion. The pickup covers have been lightly relic’d with 0000 steel wool and fine sandpaper to give it a more organic 60’s es-330 look. I’ll take off $20 (price for new covers) if that isn’t your thing.
This guitar is a major upgrade sonically and feel-wise than the current ones made in China. The original pickups in it sound amazing. My plan was to put Lollars in it but it sounded so freakin good through my twin and ac-15, Lollars wouldn’t have been an “upgrade.” I sold my Heritage H-535 because I found myself picking this Casino up 100% of the time. Some guitars are just fun and inspiring to play—and this is one of them. It has a more vintage "real instrument" feel than the newer ones.
I wish I could keep it, but I’m selling to fund taxes—so my loss of this sweet guitar is your gain!
Currently sporting 11’s at a very comfortable medium-low action. Surprisingly fast and smooth guitar.
Please ask any/all questions before purchasing. This one does not come with a case. It’s a 23 year old guitar and plays/shows signs of normal use for an instrument of this age. The frets are in great shape with most of their life left. There was an additional strap button installed on the upper horn which can come installed or left out—all adding to the vintage charm of this special instrument ;)
message me for additional video of every single fret being played unplugged, including chords and octave bends ringing out cleanly all around the neck
