Based on the serial number, this guitar was manufactured around 2007.

Since its debut in 2002, the HighWay 1 Stratocaster has been a favorite among many users.

Sister models included the Telecaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass,

which were also available for purchase.

With the launch of the American Special series in 2011,

this model was discontinued.

Priced more affordably than the Standard Series at the time,

it featured a unique lacquer finish without buffing,

and I felt it had a better tone than polyurethane-finished instruments in the same price range.

The neck features a C-shaped profile that offers a comfortable grip.

With details like the vintage-style bridge unit,

this is a guitar that shows attention to detail throughout.

There are some scratches and dents from playing,

and the frets show some wear; about 50–60% of the material remains.

The truss rod turns both left and right.

Due to the unpolished lacquer finish, there are areas where the gloss has come out.

It has a character and look unique to a used instrument that you can’t find in a shiny new one.
