Special Cranker in practically new condition. I purchased this brand-new, and it has been lightly used only in a home setting and on a couple of sessions. Sounds great in a mix! No noticeable wear — it’s in excellent shape and works perfectly.
This is an incredibly musical, unique overdrive that sounds like a pushed or blown-out speaker in the best possible way. It adds grit, character, and texture while still preserving your guitar’s natural tone. The silicon/germanium switch makes it easy to dial in different flavors — silicon for a tighter, more aggressive response, and germanium for a warmer, softer, vintage-style breakup.
It stacks exceptionally well with other pedals and works great in multiple roles:
- Always-on tone enhancer/preamp
- Low-gain textured overdrive
- “Pushed speaker” style breakup
- Sounds great when stacking a drive to add character
