Up for sale, a 1995 Epiphone Casino in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Produced in Japan at the Terada factory and featuring subtle birdseye figuring on the top and back, this is an early Epiphone reissue which preceded the modern "Elitist" line.
Acoustically, the fully hollow maple body has a smooth, bright tone, offering an ideal platform for the stock pair of P-90 pickups. The pickups are wound to vintage spec with plenty of midrange bark, and a glassy, percussive quality. Offering a refinement far beyond most other modern Casino reissues, these pickups are sensitive to picking dynamics with an overarching sweetness and sparkling cut, equally suited to articulate cleans and rich overdrive. Featherweight at 6lbs 6oz, we’ve had this Casino professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Natural finish highlights subtle birdseye figuring in the maple, framed on both sides by cream binding, and there are just a few faint marks in the clear coat on the body as a whole. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
