SO after a ton of research I am LED (hahaha punny) to believe this fretboard lights up with a connection to a computer with a specific cord! I know we have it around somewhere but we haven't come across it yet. If you check out fretlight.com there's you'll see there's an option to download the software for $80 & then you can have the fretboard light up specific cords or for full songs to learn! We haven't been able to confirm if the fret lights work due to the missing cord but if it does this is an awesome electric guitar for someone looking to learn! Even with out the cord connection it plays like a normal electric guitar & has a sweet sound.
