Yamaha G-85A Classical Guitar, made in Japan, 1970-72, plays great!

Here's a quite early Yamaha G-85A Classical Guitar, Nippon Gakki, made in Japan between 1970 and 1972. This example is playing great, in very good structural condition with appropriate classical action and room to reduce the saddle further. Decent cosmetically especially on the front, though the back is quite scratched up. Lovely rosewood fretboard. The bridge is a replacement, the repair solid but visible, and the original marquetry was preserved and transferred to the new bridge.

The Nippon Gakki era Yamahas are particularly sweet yet remain affordable. This is an excellent example. Cases available for an extra charge, contact me if you'd like one added to the listing. Ships fast and well protected.
