The PRS 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Limited Edition celebrates four decades of PRS craftsmanship, pairing early design inspiration with modern pickup development and premium materials.
The mahogany body and artist grade figured maple top provide a balanced and resonant tonal foundation with strong sustain, clarity, and depth. The retro violin carve and Sub Zero Smokeburst finish highlight the figuring of the maple top while giving the instrument a distinctive modern appearance.
The one piece mahogany neck features a Pattern Thin profile for fast and comfortable playability across all 24 frets. The ziricote fretboard and matching headstock veneer add unique visual character and articulate response, complemented by Old School bird inlays and the Pre Factory eagle headstock logo.
Equipped with PRS DMO treble and bass pickups, this model delivers a wide open and highly dynamic tonal response with exceptional articulation and a more vocal character across pickup positions. The 5 way blade switch provides a versatile range of usable tones suited for clean, driven, rhythm, and lead applications.
Additional features include the PRS Gen III patented tremolo and PRS Phase III locking tuners for expressive performance and reliable tuning stability.
