This 2022 Fender Custom Shop ’58 Relic Stratocaster, in the gorgeous Faded Candy Apple Red Aged finish, is a solid-body that embodies all the look and feel of late-’50s Strats. The alder body with nitrocellulose finish delivers resonance and open tones, while the maple neck with maple fingerboard, featuring the ’54 Strat Soft V profile, offers a firm yet extremely comfortable grip. The 9.5” radius with 21 narrow-tall frets ensures modern playability without losing its vintage character. The electronics include three Handwound Strat Fat ’50s pickups in SSS configuration, controlled by a 5-way switch, capable of delivering bright, full, and dynamic sounds. The Vintage Stratocaster bridge completes this authentic instrument in every way. The original hardshell case, tags, strap, and Shop Floor Traveler are included.
