Up for sale is a gorgeous pair of RCA 12AU7 tubes, likely from the 1940s. Boxes are in great condition although I did manage to pop the carton top on one in the process of opening it up. The tubes look great, both with a 517 code... look to have a D getter, to me.
This lot is from the estate of a US government engineer and the majority of his surplus lot were from the middle to end of World War II (mid 1940s). Many were in the original JAN cartons, although these aren't. I have sold a handful of tubes from the lot and the all the buyers have been very happy, but please note: THIS LISTING IS BEING SOLD AS IS. I am NOT a professional tube dealer and cannot speak to how well these will work in your equipment. Please study the pics.
Feel free to ask me any questions and I'll do my best to answer. Again, please understand before buying that these are sold as is, priced accordingly, and I cannot accept returns. Thank you!
