Great flawless condition. Early Early, from the first batch, the best ones. If you think the V2 or the V3 will get the same results as the v1, they don't come close. Ive had every one of them including the clones, and they all suck. Its like comparing oranges to apples . These are the exact ones that Frucianti, and Klinghoffer used till this day. It's on all of the Chili's best records. The quintessential chili peppers wah tones, no doubt. These are highly highly consistent pedal to pedal. The question is, do you get one that isn't cracked in half??

This casing is virtually like new with no cracks and barely a single scratch. I think these are one of the best wahs available. It's very easy to see why john liked them so much. I would keep mine in a loop switcher so I wouldn't even have to touch the wah, i just would step on the loop switcher, my Voodoo lab px8). If you don't want it in a loop switcher and you want to actually step on the wah to engage it, then, all you have to do is cut the hard rubber bumper out and put a soft rubber bumper in. ( You can't use it as intended with the hard rubber bumper, that's just impossible, you have to replace the rubber bumper. If you want to use it that way.

Having hard rubber bumpers causes the player to press down harder to engage the pedal. All Ibanez had to do from the very beginning was use a very soft rubber, and there would be a million of these around still!! Unfortunately, now they have become very rare, all because of a ridiculously concrete hard rubber bumper, lol.. I still have the hard rubber bumper on mine, but as I said, I kept it in a loop switcher, and never had to stomp on it at all. This was my backup one. I have another one, that is also in near mint condition. I replaced the rubber bumper on my other wah, with a softer rubber bumper. I know these pedals are pricey, but they're more than worth it and they certainly aren't gonna go down in value if you take care of it. It will last forever if you care for it. Not to mention, no other wah sounds like it.

I bought a JOE GAGAN REPLICA A COUPLE YEARS BACK JUST TO SEE WHAT IT SOUNDED LIKE AND IT IS A TOTAL JOKE.

I AB'd them side by side.

I even emailed Joe about it asking him why he says his clones sound anything like an Ibanez, and he gave me my money back at least, I'll give him that much credit. Joe is a good dude. He does make other good wahs. He just missed the mark on the Ibanez v1 wah.

Apparently Ibanez can't even make these anymore, because their V2 and V3 sound nothing like it. Just buy it, it's not like you're going to spend your money on something worthwhile anyway, lol. It costs as much as one trip to the grocery store.
