What it does: The Pink Drive is an opamp-based drive circuit that covers a wide range of gain — from dirty boost through overdrive, light and heavy distortion, all the way to near-fuzz territory. Voiced for classic 70s and 80s tones; think Gilmour-saturated drive to grinding fuzz-dirt. Responds beautifully to your guitar's volume knob.
Controls:
- Volume, Gain, Tone (Hi/Lo cut)
- Smooth Mids mini-toggle: Stock (up) or Smooth (down) — great for thinning out thick pickups
- Silicon/LED Diode mini-toggle: Stock (up) or LED Hybrid (down) — increases headroom and tightens breakup
V3 specifics: Single Zener diode clipping — fatter and louder overall, with a noticeable attack bloom on hard picking.
Loves single coils. Works great with humbuckers rolled back. 9vDC only.
