This is an FSC Instruments STM‑Vintage, built in mid‑2023 in Brooklyn by Farhad and the FSC team. It’s their tribute to the standout S‑style guitars that have passed through their NYC workshop over the years — specifically exceptional examples from 1958, 1961, and 1963. The STM‑Vintage captures the feel, response, and sweetness of those instruments while adding subtle refinements that make it a joy to play today.

This one is finished in black and lightly aged by FSC. It has seen almost no real‑world wear and remains in near‑new condition. At 7.1 lbs, it’s exceptionally comfortable and resonant.

Vintage‑Inspired Build

FSC developed the STM‑Vintage after carefully measuring and documenting the details that made their favorite pre‑CBS guitars so special — deep body contours, hand‑shaped neck profiles, and warm, articulate pickup voicings. The result is a guitar that feels broken‑in from day one but plays with modern precision.
