These don’t come by too often…

Folks this is a first generation Fender pedal steel -- Leo Fender's original designs took the PSG from a novelty item to a mainstream instrument to be for which sonic standards were born. The undercarriage in the original models were not intended to support the knee levers that would later become more of a standard. This model is widely considered to be the first mechanism capable of reliably raising and lowering the same string, and is a direct ancestor to today's modern all-pull changers.

The gentleman that I bought this from indicated that it was the personal guitar of Nancy Lee. The sunburst finish is jaw dropping and, the chrome still shimmers, the sound is so smooth and clean – where chime melts into that classic tone and the overall condition is near mint for its lineage – truly a once in a blue moon opportunity to own a piece of history.

Includes bar, 4x finger picks, original split cases, vinyl legs sleeve, and original user manual.
