From the depths of the Telluride Music Co. storage unit, we have unearthed this set of 1970s Schaller Tuning Machines. These are the same style as the M6, but these are the split shaft version. They appear to be the standard chrome plating, and they have geared hex bushings. Each is stanped with the Schaller S and “Made in W Germany.”
These Schaller tuners are in very good functional condition, and they hold tuning like they should. They come to use on a 1960s Martin. Apparently the original owner was talking to these Schaller back in the ‘70s when they were the hot new tuner. But we opted to replace them with period-correct Grover’s on the Martin. We intended to save them for another project, but let’s be real—we have too many projects! Because of that, we figured we’d through them up here where someone might want them for their Les Paul or something appropriate. Make us an offer!
Get ‘em before they get gone!
