For sale is this absolutely beautiful 1999 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe - 30th anniversary limited edition model in Ebony Black.
An exact reproduction “reissue” of the original 1969 LP Deluxe, featuring mini humbuckers, a Mahogony body, and an overall 70s vibe with the cream accents. These pickups sit somewhere between the sparkling clarity of a single coil, and the thick bite of a PAF. Very percussive, a nice tight, focused, midrange snarl, fast attack, great with gain + pedals.
This one only weighs 8.8 lbs, which is very hard to come by.
Comfortable slim 60s style C neck, 1-11/16” nut width, 24.75” scale.
There are very minor cosmetic surface scratches which I did my best to accurately represent throughout, but otherwise she is in near tip top shape for a vintage instrument. Hardly any noticeable fret-wear.
Fresh set of strings, but truthfully, this one would greatly benefit from a set up, and probably a new bridge. Nashville style bridges from this era are notorious for sagging over time. An easy fix.
Comes safely shipped in a premium green-plush interior Guardian Les Paul case.
