Ibanez B200 - Natural High Gloss

Step into the spotlight with an instrument that honors the roots of bluegrass and folk while offering the modern reliability Ibanez is known for. This B200 banjo features Sapele back and sides, a wood often celebrated for its mahogany-like properties, providing a warm, rich tone that grounds the instrument's percussive nature. The Okoume neck and Purpleheart fretboard offer a sturdy, comfortable feel for navigating complex rolls and flatpicking melodies. While the banjo is a distinct beast, its tonewoods provide a balanced range of frequencies and a clear, articulate voice that ensures you cut through the mix with a "sizzling" high end that never feels harsh.

Whether you're driving the rhythm in a live band setting or recording in the studio, the B200’s construction focuses the sound like a laser beam. The combination of a Purpleheart and Maple bridge ensures excellent note separation and sustain, allowing each string to ring with bell-like clarity. This banjo is designed for players who demand quick response and high-volume projection without sacrificing the "sweet" midrange resonance found in high-quality acoustic instruments.
