Trader-Bobs Music on Reverb offers an Indiana Band Instrument Company, Tenor saxophone. Phase 1; (1928-1938) serial number 13811, 1936 production. Made by Martin in Elkhart Indiana, ran down the same assembly lines as the Martin instruments. Probably a Martin Handcraft body, with split bell keys. There are no bent, or sluggish keys. A few very minor dents, and signs of wear on the silverplate finish. Study the pictures, they are part of the description. The pads, though are questionable, they may be the originals. Unusual tone hole configuration. A good solid candidate for total restoration. Because of the pads condition, very doubtful she will play very well. No markings on the mouthpiece. Original hard case, the latches, and hinges work fine.
