I am offering a Gibson SG Modern Blueberry Fade LH from 2021, a manufactured in Nashville, Tennessee (USA), luxury version of the SG as a left-handed model with lightweight mahogany body (3.19 kg total weight), beautifully figured “AA” flame maple top, set mahogany neck with Asymmetrical Slim Taper neck profile and 43mm Graph Tech nut, bound ebony fingerboard with trapezoidal mother-of-pearl inlays and 24 cryogenically-treated medium jumbo frets, two hot Gibson Burstbucker Pro/Pro+ humbucker pickups, sophisticated electronics with push/pull coil split for each pickup, high-quality Gibson Nashville aluminum Tune -o-Matic bridge with aluminum stopbar as well as Grover Mini tuners in a beautifully flowing Blueberry Fade high-gloss nitro finish with gleaming chrome hardware in mint condition including brown Gibson luxury hardshell case, manufacturer’s papers and professional setup with 10-gauge Elixir strings.
This left-handed Gibson SG Modern is the contemporary, devilishly high-end variant of the Gibson SG and comes with a host of modern upgrades over the standard version, truly making it a guitar of the highest caliber.
Featuring an “AA” grade maple top with lush flamed grain, finished in a beautifully gradient selection of blue-hued finishes, this instrument brings the undisputed beauty of the Les Paul Burst to the archetypal modern styling of the quintessential hard rock workhorse. But that’s not all: featuring two of Gibson’s very best humbucking pickups—the Gibson Burstbucker Pro at the neck and the Burstbucker Pro+ at the bridge—as well as extensive electronics including a push/ pull coil tap in each volume control, a Graph Tech nut combined with a Gibson Nashville aluminum Tune-o-Matic bridge for perfect intonation, and the high-gloss nitrocellulose finish, it is one of the most intense-sounding and -looking SGs ever to grace a stage.
A sound sample of the model can be found above at the end of the photo gallery.
Thanks to the double cutaway, the slim Asymmetrical Slim Taper neck profile, the short 628mm scale length, and the medium-width 43mm nut, the guitar feels great in your hands right away and—typical SG – to play beautifully right up to the highest of the 24 cryogenically-treated medium jumbo frets on the fine ebony fretboard .
In short: a Gibson SG on steroids on Custom Shop level.
