The Fender Deluxe Reverb II is a highly versatile, point-to-point hand-wired combo amplifier. I believe this amp was manufactured in 1984 during CBS-era Fender’s famous "Rivera era". Designed by Paul Rivera, this amp was built to blend classic Fender clean tones with high-gain capabilities to compete directly with Mesa/Boogie.

The amp is in great condition with only 1 notable tolex flaw, on the upper back panel, see photograph. It's basically been stored as a collector piece since 2011. Everything currently works as it should, but a future service should be considered. The original footswitch is also included.

Key Specifications:

• Power Output: 20 watts via a matched pair of 6V6 power tubes.
• Speaker: Fender brand 1x12"
• Rectifier: Solid-state (silicon diode) full-wave bridge rectifier, omitting a traditional rectifier tube.
• Reverb: Tube-driven spring reverb active across both channels.
• Tremolo: Completely absent; Rivera eliminated the tremolo circuit in favor of modern channel switching.

Unlike the classic blackface amps where channels require separate inputs, the Deluxe Reverb II routes everything through a single 1/4" input jack.

• Channel 1 (Clean): Delivers the iconic, scooped, sparkling Fender clean tone. It features Volume, Treble, and Bass controls. Pulling out the Volume knob manually switches the amp to Channel 2 if a footswitch is not connected.
• Channel 2 (Lead/Overdrive): Designed for saturated distortion reminiscent of a Mesa/Boogie Mark II. It features independent Volume, Gain, Treble, Mid, and Bass controls. It includes a pull-out Mid Boost on the Middle knob for heavy, cutting lead tones.
• Master Section: Includes a global Master Volume and a Presence control. The presence knob acts on the negative feedback loop (similar to a Marshall) to shape high-frequency harmonics.
