1953 Gretsch Broadkaster “Name Band” outfit in Midnight Blue Pearl. 3 Ply shells; all with BEAUTIFUL clear interiors and date stamps (but hard to read). Included in the sale are 3 floor tom legs, rail consolette with tom holder, bass drum spurs and correct Gretsch Cymbal L arm. (Only one of the two different cymbal arms included) All heads in excellent/ gently used condition. The drum set is VERY clean overall. The bearing edges are clean. The interiors are spotless. Most of the lug screws have oxidation and are white.I wouldn’t change a thing about. An absolutely amazing players set. The two toms are darker than the bass drum. The toms are more midnight where the bass drum is more light blue pearl in my opinion. But again, it’s a players kit. And one that sounds fantastic to boot.   14” x 22” bass drum: Missing a little inlay on the bottom of the hoops and some of the inlay has curling/ twisting. Some cracks in the wrap but none missing. Felt on Pratt muffler replaced, works very well!! (Love these things!) The chrome is in excellent shape. The Gretsch cymbal arm is included and 2 complete and working diamond cymbal brackets. Gretsch clear logo batter head with clear built in muffling ring, Remo Fiberskyn 3 resonant head with Gretsch Decal.

  16” x 16” floor tom: The Wrap is in beautiful shape. Stick chopper rims. Chrome is in excellent shape. Internal tone controls are complete and work very well. Gladstone leg brackets are beautiful and work well. Some minor chrome loss/ aging on the legs. Beautiful drum! Evans EC1 Batter head, Gretsch single ply resonant head.
