I built this one-off Rangemaster type treble booster a few years ago, on a terminal strip. (I am an experienced builder, having done pedals, mics, amps, preamps, etc). It has an excellent CV7003 transistor. I eventually changed the input caps to other values, and both settings are less trebly than stock. It has a GigRig virtual battery attached that you can plug a normal 9v power cable. There’s no room inside for a battery, so this is the best way to integrate on a pedalboard. The virtual battery offers the battery sound, which is best for this type of circuit.
The art is laser print transfer on matte polycrylic, so it’s more of an artisanal finish
