This is a dbx 266XL, a classic dual-channel analog compressor/gate widely used in studios, live rigs, and broadcast racks throughout the late 90s and 2000s. The 266XL is known for being reliable, simple to dial in, and extremely effective for vocals, drums, bass, keyboards, and full mix control.

It features dbx’s signature OverEasy compression curve, intuitive gating, and clear visual metering, making it an ideal choice whether you’re tightening up live vocals or evening out dynamic instruments in a recording chain.

This unit includes:

• Full threshold, ratio, attack, release, and output gain controls

Used – Good Condition

• Front panel shows cosmetic wear, scratches, and rack rash, and the bottom has some long scratches (all consistent with studio rack use).
• Rear connections are clean and the 1/4 inputs & outputs have been verified as functional (don't have the setup for testing the XLR connections or the side chain input).
• The video shows the proper operation of the compression, the bypass buttons and the Stereo Couple button.
• All knobs and switches present and working.
• Unit powers on and responds normally.
• Includes the original Owners Manual.

This has been in a rack in my home studio and I am the original purchaser/owner.
