Anybody out there have a thing for blondes? Well, heck yeah….then step on up! This 1972 Blonde Telecaster Bass is bond to scratch that itch!!
This all original beauty weighs in at a solid 9.6lbs and is Sherman tank sturdy! That being said, it still hangs over the shoulder well with even weight distribution so sturdy is still back friendly. Action is amazing and it plays with ease. Frets are fine and will be for years to come. The bass just looks as “Vintage Fender” as one can naturally get with no help or “sped up process“. There is some finish damage around the jack.. looks like maybe a hot summer in the trunk after a gig or something got to it.. Some cracking and discoloration… kind of funky and adds to the Mojo if you ask me. The color under the original bridge cover and guard are much more “vibrant” like the older thinner poly finishes do! Look so badass!! Cover and original owners manual included in the original hardshell case. Also as an added bonus there obviously were a few sets of tuners laying around the factory. This one was outfitted from the factory with an earlier set of NO TRADEMARK Fender tuners… sweet!!
There is a tiny hole under the E string between the guard and bridge. Absolutely no idea why it’s there…. doing this as long as I have and as many mistakes that I have made.. this really seems like somebody was drilling another body or something on top of this one… might’ve gone through and just touched this one.. or something goofy like that.. this has no other purpose.. or reason to be there. Just one of those little things that will add to the character and needs to be mentioned… but nothing in the picture.

These are incredible instruments and any Fender Thumper at one point needs to if you have not already.. take one for a ride!! I bet you keep it!! lol

Thanks for the interest.
