Up for sale, a 2011 Fender Stratocaster ‘71 vintage reissue model ST71/ASH in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This vintage-spec “Made in Japan” Stratocaster was produced for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside of its country of origin, featuring an ash body with a gloss Natural finish.
The ash body offers plenty of natural midrange potency, and the trio of single coil pickups yield classic Strat sparkle: the bridge is gutsy and clear, the neck is smooth and broad, the “in-between” positions on the five-way pickup selector deliver hollow quack. This Stratocaster ST71/ASH weighs 8lbs 8oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
