Here is a 1951 Epiphone Triumph archtop that is in really good condition and plays really nicely. Neck is straight and guitar plays great all the way up the fretboard. Low action with a really nice tone. This 75 year old guitar looks like it was hardly ever played. Frets are in incredible condition and the entire guitar is in really good condition. The original pickguard disintegrated which caused the only finish marks you see on the guitar. It really is a clean old Triumph that looks like it’s had hardly any use. It’s time for that to change. This guitar really is a great archtop from a time when Epiphone made some of the best archtop guitars. The mounts for the pickguard is still attached. The original bridge was lost over time and replaced. As was the part of the frequesator tailpiece that the strings attach to. The original patent pending part that attaches to the body is still included. Could easily be put back to 100% original but it’s really nice as is. No case, but will be packed super well for safe arrival. If you’ve been looking for an old Triumph, this really is a nice one. Beautiful sunburst and the back is more of a dark cherry finish. Very similar to my old Gibson L-10 in that regards. Original finish. Original tuners. No cracks or issues with the body or neck.
