Mint condition 2023 Fender Custom Shop - 70th Anniversary 1954 Reissue - Heavy Relic!

If you look closely, and match up the relic-ing, you can see that this guitar is the one that they show on the Fender Custom Shop website! It was sold to me as the first one made, and specifically for the NAMM show, but I cannot verify that at this time. Plays amazingly well, and is all original.

This guitar is stunning in person, and rings like a 50's strat. Extremely light use, with no noticeable fret wear, or signs of use other than what was done at the factory. Stored in a climate controlled, smoke free home. I'm only selling this to fund another non-music related project. I can already feel the regret of letting this one go...

To celebrate the this momentous event, the Fender Custom Shop has released the Limited Edition 70 th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster model. Fender only reissues the ’54 Strat every 10 years and this exquisite Time Machine sports all the classic '54 appointments you know and love, with some additional updates compared to the 50th and 60th Anniversary variants.

This particular guitar was special ordered with the truss rod adjustment at the headstock. Other than that, all specs are stock. Some of the unique and authentic details of the Limited Edition 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster include a lightweight 2-Piece Ash body w/Offset Seam, 1-piece quartersawn Maple neck with unique 70 th Ann ’54 Strat neck profile, 7.25”-9.5” fingerboard radius (Yes, they did have this back in the 50s), Hand Wound ’54 Strat pickups, and vintage-style hardware along with period correct style plastics such as the rounded pickup covers and short skirt knobs..
