This stunning example of the PRS luthiers' art is a Wood Library Custom 24 manufactured in October, 2023 and spec'd out by Chicago Music Exchange. The guitar is visually striking (both front and back) tonally full and rich, and agreeably light at 8 pounds, 1 ounce. Even the black paisley case with brown leather appointments and plush blue interior is a looker!

The fade finish over the 7A grade wide flame maple top is incredibly executed. Sometimes there are hard lines separating the colors in a fade, but not with this one. My wife named this guitar "Guinness" because it reminds her of a creamy pint of our favorite brew. The mahogany body is also beautiful and has some great movement in the wood. I've often wondered if the orientation of the fretboard was intentional by PRS because the Ziricote also has somewhat of a fade to it, but in reverse (lightest at the neck joint and darkening up to the nut). The birds are abalone outlined in mother of pearl, and the hardware is a dark smoke-colored chrome.

This guitar is in Excellent + condition with only the slightest signs of play wear on the back that couldn't even be photographed with any clarity. It has been lovingly cared for in a smoke-free home, has never been gigged, and hasn't left my house since I got it. I am inevitably asked by curious people on Reverb why I'm selling the instruments that I have listed, so I'll answer that here: Too many guitars, too little space. As we're entering retirement, we are downsizing and I simply don't have room for the many guitars in my collection. As much as all of us who have been bitten by the guitar bug hate to part with any of our beloved guitars, it's simply time for me to do so.
