Early Post-War (1946–1950) Rickenbacker Electro Model NS Lap Steel -- 1.5" Horseshoe Pickup -- All Original -- Original Case -- Bought at Chicago Music Exchange in October of 2022

This is an Early-Post-War Rickenbacker Electro Model NS Lap Steel with a 1946–1950 Vintage based on a combo of features from the earliest post-war production window:

• Nameplate on Headstock: The silver nameplate headstock logo (as opposed to the painted black and red logo that appeared on later NS models) is consistent with the earliest post-war examples and closely resembles pre-war Rickenbacker branding (Hawaiian, Nickel-Plated Models, etc.). It also displays "Electro" in quotations, which was phased out during logo standardization process in the early 1950's.
• Horseshoe Pickup: The 1.5" Horseshoe pickup is the wider, earlier configuration that was phased out as production modernized through the early-to-mid 1950s
• Post-War Indicators: Painted Body Finish, Molded Plastic Bridge, Dual Knobs (Volume + Tone) located on Right Side, no Stamp on Pickup Flange

Condition: Fully-functional with all original parts included. Original case is also fully functional and very protective. The Horseshoe pickup sounds incredible - full and warm, really benefits from that wider pickup as mentioned earlier
