Fender Custom Shop TSG Exclusive ’63 Stratocaster Chambered 3-Tone Sunburst Journeyman Relic w/Case

Serial: CZ588375
Weight: 7lbs 2.9oz

This Fender Custom Shop TSG Exclusive ’63 Stratocaster captures the feel and tone of an early-’60s Strat while incorporating subtle modern refinements for enhanced resonance and comfort. Finished in a classic 3-Tone Sunburst and treated with a Journeyman Relic lacquer finish, this guitar delivers broken-in aesthetics and a naturally worn-in feel without crossing into heavy aging territory.

The chambered ash body adds airiness and resonance while reducing overall weight, giving this Strat a lively, open response with strong fundamental notes and clear highs. A trio of hand-wound Strat Fat ’60s single-coil pickups provides authentic vintage voice with warm mids, glassy highs, and dynamic touch sensitivity that responds beautifully to both clean and driven tones.

The neck is built from hand picked flame maple with a rosewood fingerboard and a comfortable 1963-style oval “C” profile. A 9.5" fingerboard radius and narrow tall frets offer a familiar vintage look with improved playability, making bends smooth and effortless while retaining classic Strat feel. Finished in medium-tint nitrocellulose lacquer, the neck feels fast, comfortable, and immediately broken in.

As a Tone Shop Guitars exclusive Custom Shop build, this Strat blends era-correct styling with thoughtful upgrades, resulting in a guitar that feels inspiring, resonant, and stage-ready straight out of the case.
