PRS Narrowfield DD "S" pickups are purpose-built to solve the single-coil noise problem without sacrificing tone. The "Deep Dish" design uses taller bobbins for more winds and additional metal pieces between the magnets — the result is a focused, powerful, noiseless humbucker that still delivers the snarl, twang, and articulate low end you'd expect from this body style. They're also exceptionally receptive to gain, making the NF53 far more versatile than its vintage-inspired looks suggest.
