The Harman Kardon Citation 17 Preamplifier is a vintage high-end stereo preamplifier released in 1975. Known for its "clinically clean" sound and exceptional technical performance, it was the final preamplifier produced before the sale of the U.S.-built Harman Kardon division. Its design follows the "straight wire with gain" philosophy, aiming for near-zero distortion across a massive frequency range. It features the (then-trademark) translucent red power button, which illuminates when powered up.
