Here's a five-string conversion of a used Martin LXM guitar. Five-string acoustics are hard to find and expensive. This is a fully playable instrument tuned CGDAE, and takes advantage of the surprisingly excellent bass response on the little Martin. Gives a wonderful and unique sound approaching a baritone guitar from the low C.
The underlying instrument was in decent used condition, notably with a couple of dings to the HPL and a hole drilled in the headstock. A broken tuner on this little fellow was the inspiration to set it up with five strings, and has been discarded. All the original pin holes and nut slots are retained so you can return this to a six-string configuration easily if desired.
Ships fast, well protected, and fully insured. Happy to do a similar conversion on your instrument if you'd like, just get in touch!
