The Venus 3 is a boutique American all-tube combo renowned for delivering big vintage tone in a compact format that works well at manageable volumes. Producing 15 watts (switchable to 7W) with 6V6 tubes in Class A, it features a single but highly versatile channel, thanks to a footswitchable gain boost, full EQ, and a switch that lets you move from Fender tweed to blackface-style tones. It also includes a spring reverb, an effects loop, and a line out, making it equally at home in the studio or on stage. Its 12-inch speaker is a Celestion Creamback G12H. Despite its size, it delivers a rich, warm, and dynamic sound, capable of excellent cleans as well as very singing overdrive, making it a favorite for rock, blues, and controlled-volume playing.
